A. Cambre, former president, creator and editor of the Reflections of
Icaria, membership chairman, and accountant of the National Icarian
Heritage Society passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2006 at his

deepest sympathy for the loss of one of its most creative forces. Arden
supported the Society with his time, efforts, and dedication to
educating descendants and non-descendants about the Icarian movement.
Arden's selfless devotion to promoting Icarian history is evidenced by his vision of this website, volunteering to head the membership drive, keeping the Board apprised of the financial status, creating and maintaining the membership database, coauthoring the NIHS Constitution and By-Laws, and performing other tasks too numerous to mention.
